Alexander Herzog was fascinated by the highly resistant material polyurethane and the various possibilities of application already at the beginning of his training period at asma plastics technology PUR in Weitra. After his final apprenticeship examination, the trained plastics engineer decided to enhance his acquired competences in a master class. “The crucial prerequisites for the successful use of polyurethane elastomers is the knowledge of the characteristic properties and applications which are appropriate for the material”, Alexander Herzog explains and adds, “During the professional training I also got to know the various processing techniques. I think the topic injection moulding is especially interesting.”

Within asma´s internal R&D team, Alexander Herzog gets the possibility to put his knowledge gained in the course into practice. “With every difficult task not only knowledge is gained but also the motivation to find new optimal solutions increases and this is a lot of fun!”
