Application:
Coated rollers in industry and craftwork are subject to chemical and mechanical wear. The latter shows in the form of material defects of the damaged goods.
Properties:
The reconstruction of a perfectly coated surface with its various requirements such as being free from patterns, holes, cracks or roughness, including special macrostructures, are a challenge for many maintenance departments.
Available at asma:
Asma offers a special regrinding service to its customers´ coated rollers. Depending on the application and the respectively defined parameters, damaged rollers are renewed at the surface.
The process comprises an assessment concerning the necessary steps and a finalisation of the surface including a documentation of the steps necessary to maximize the period of use for our customers by reducing the stock removal rate.
